“When I graduated
last year (2005) from a wonderful course which taught
me so much, I must admit I had all the confidence in
the world that work would run smoothly.
I got a bit of work from the Islington
Show (organized by college at the end of the 3rd year)
for a company that prints beautiful work onto leather,
they do stuff for Paul Smith. They commissioned me to
do illustrations to go on leather i pod holders.

Since then I have illustrated the Guardian and the Independent.
I also have regular commissions from a card company
called Real& Exciting Designs and have done a series
of greetings cards for the Art Group. One has to promote
one’s work as much as possible, get it out there,
get it out into the world, so people can see it as much
as possible.
I would like to say that I loved my
years at Falmouth College of Art and I can only praise
the course.” |
