Helen Jackson’s background is in painting, and after studying Fine Art she taught art for a number of years in schools and further education. Then her M.A. in the History of Modern Art and Design had its focus in the connections between fine art and popular culture; these boundaries have continued to be of interest. She has contributed to the delivery of Historical and Cultural Studies on various courses at University College Falmouth, and has been part of the HACS team on the BA Illustration course for a few years, in particular through involvement with final year dissertation supervision.
