Pam Otto’s main area of interest is in Cultural Studies, particularly gender and post-colonial theory. Starting as a mature student with the Open University, she then took American Studies at Exeter and an MA in the History of Modern Art and Design at Falmouth. Her work at University College Falmouth covers Historical and Cultural Studies on the BA Illustration and BA Fine Art courses, and she is a dyslexia support tutor across the whole college. At present she has a UCF Research Fellowship and is exploring best practice for dyslexia support in Higher Education.
