Sue Clarke graduated from St. Martins School of Art in 1989 and has worked as a practicing illustrator and lecturer ever since.

Has worked for a large client list across editorial, design, advertising and book publishing fields in the UK, USA, Spain, Italy, Germany, Japan and Holland, including companies such as Time magazine, Wall St. Journal, The Guardian, The Times, The Telegraph, Penguin Books, Walker Books, Hyperion/Disney, The Royal Festival Hall, Nat West, Amnesty International etc...

Has exhibited in various contemporary illustration shows (including one she recently curated in London) and won various awards, including an American award for ‘The Tombs of the Pharaohs’ (a children’s pop up book) and an award from Thames TV Has taught on a range of courses (Art Foundation, BA and MA Illustration), for a number of colleges/Universities in the UK, including Kingston University (joint course leader), St. Martins School of Art, Brighton University…etc.
